CNAM and Cell Phones
Why is my company's name not displaying as the CNAM for outbound calls?

Caller ID Name for Cell Phones
Not all cell phone networks support CNAM due to technical limitations, or the way that calls are routed on cellular networks.
If the cellular network you're calling does not support the transmission of CNAM over VoIP, then the recipient of the call may not see any Caller ID Name information.
This is why caller ID does not always show up on cell phones when calling from VoIP lines. In those instances, it would display the telephone number and maybe the Rate Center, but not a company name.
Example
469-429-2500 has a CNAM set in the national database as SPECTRUMVOIP. When calling someone that has T-Mobile for their provider, the CNAM display may show 469-429-2500 (telephone number) and ALLEN, TX (Rate Center) instead of SPECTRUMVOIP (Company name).
