Factory Reset an AudioCodes ATA
Learn how to effectively perform a factory reset on your device to restore it to original settings and troubleshoot issues.
To factory reset an AudioCodes ATA, do the following…
- Get a paperclip, toothpick, or pin.
- Disconnect the ATA from power.
- With the paperclip, toothpick, or pin, hold down the reset button that is within the RST pinhole located on back of the ATA.
- While holding down the reset button, reconnect the ATA to power.
- Continue to hold down the reset button for 30 seconds.
✔ The status light should be solid red, the WAN port should be flashing green, and the power light should be solid green.
- Stop pressing the reset button and wait for the LED lights on the front of the ATA to turn red.

Wait while the ATA reboots and provisions, which may take 30-60 seconds.
✔ The PHONE1, PHONE2, WAN, Status, and Power LEDs will blink 3 times.

Continue waiting as the ATA performs a second reboot.
✔ The WAN LED will continue to blink green while the status light will stay red for 10-15 seconds.
- Wait for the WAN, Status, and Power LEDs to update to solid green.
- Perform a test fax with your faxing machine.
