Verify Your E911 Registration Information
Learn how to check the emergency services registration status for your phone and location.
Whether you are moving to a new address or using your phone remotely at home, it may be necessary to verify that your 911 caller information matches the address of the building you work in. Doing this can help bring some peace of mind that your phones are ready to go in the case of an emergency.
To quickly check if a device's E911 information is correct, dial 9 3 3 on your SpectrumVoIP phone or softphone (i.e., the StratusHUB desktop app or the SpectrumVoIP mobile app).
Once dialed, an automated response will play back your phone number's registration status, the phone number that shows to emergency responders, your address, and any extra location information included in your E911 information.
DANGER: If the number and address information is incorrect, then it is essential to have your E911 Caller ID information updated by immediately calling our technical support team.
