For a Single User For Multiple Users

In some circumstances, it may be necessary to enable voicemail transcriptions for yourself or other users. This can be a wonderful solution for users with accessibility issues.

NOTE: Enabling voicemail transcriptions costs $2.99 per month per user.

To speak with our team about any billing-related concerns, reach out to our Billing team by calling (469) 429-2500 and selecting Option 2 or emailing billing@spectrumvoip.com. 

If you would like our team to enable transcriptions for your users, contact our technical support team by calling (469) 429-2500 and selecting Option 4, emailing support@spectrumvoip.com, or sending in a ticket using our knowledge base or our support website.

 

For a Single User

Enabling voicemail transcriptions can be done on the Voicemail tab of the user's profile settings. To do this…

  1. Navigate to the Users page.
  2. Search for the user needing voicemail transcriptions enabled.
  3. Click the Edit icon and select l.
  4. On the Voicemail tab, use Voicemail Transcription drop-down to select Deepgram if transcriptions should be enabled.
  5. Once you are done, click the Save button.

    ✔ Now when you receive a voicemail, you can listen to the voicemail and read its transcription.

     

 


For Multiple Users

Alternatively, you can enable voicemail transcriptions for multiple users at once. This can be done using the Bulk Edit feature of the Users page. 

To do this…

  1. Navigate to the Users page.
  2. Select the users that will need voicemail transcriptions.
  3. Click the Bulk Edit button.
  4. In the Bulk Edit User menu, scroll down to and select Enable Transcriptions. 
  5. Use the drop-down to select Deepgram if transcriptions should be enabled.
  6. Once you are done, click the Save button.

    ✔ Now when the users receive a voicemail, they can listen to the voicemail and read its transcription.
